Wesak is the biggest celebration of the Buddhist year and once again we want to welcome you to the beauty of the Hidden Gardens as we rejoice in the Buddha's Enlightenment.
Buddhists from the several traditions now represented in Glasgow will be marking the festival with meditation, chanting and informed discussion. But Wesak is a time for noise and colour too, so there will also be mask and flag making workshops, storytelling and drumming for children, stalls, and free food to enjoy. Who said there's no such thing as a free lunch!
Wesak at the Hidden Gardens is now an established Spring event and it really does manage to be all things to all people, from serious Buddhist practitioners to families looking for a fun, interesting and even educational day out.
A magical experience for young and old with all sorts of surprises hidden round every corner. We look forward to seeing you there.
